She was so kind, inclusive, and understood what style of dresses I gravitated towards instantly. Tried on so many beautiful dresses (and found the one!) and Cassidy made it extra special. I loved my experience with the Wedding Shoppe! I scheduled two appointments, one in May and one in September, and got to work with Cassidy both times. My first appointment I came into the shop solo, to determine what sort of dresses I wanted without any influences from my family and because I wasn't sure it would be a positive experience, since I normally don't love how I look in clothes. Cassidy completely understood why I was there and how to make the most of the appointment without any pressure to purchase a dress at that point. When I returned in September with my family and friends, she remembered me and we picked up right were I left off. I immediately found a dress I loved and was fairly certain it would be "my dress" but the only problem was that they only had a sample size 8 which didn't fit, nor was it even close to fitting. After trying on the bodice I knew I liked it enough to come back later when they had the larger sample size in stock to hopefully solidify that that was indeed my dress. The shop manager heard this, and went into their warehouse, dug through boxes and pulled out the size 20 sample to bring into the store same day so my family and I could have our "say yes" moment together since they were here from out of town. I visited other salons in the Twin Cities Area and I don't think any of them would've done that for us. They went above and beyond during this appointment (and the subsequent impromptu appointment 2 hours later after digging through their warehouse and finding the properly sized dress).

I highly recommend the Wedding Shoppe. I loved working with them so much that I returned for a 2nd dress (a white bridesmaid dress) once we determined we were honeymooning in Italy and meeting the Pope, for which my first dress was inappropriate for. They've been in business for this long for a reason -- Go, you won't be disappointed!

Below you'll see the photos of the poorly fitting size 8 sample, then the size 20 sample...followed by the dress as worn during the wedding day after it was ordered in the correct size (somewhere in between sizes). Also the second dress I ordered from the Wedding Shoppe (white bridesmaid dress) for our visit to the Vatican since my shoulders and back needed to be covered.

First time shopping for wedding dresses this summer for my wedding in September 2025 and found my dream dress with the help of amazing stylist, Vic! I had a vision in my head of what I thought I wanted and we tried on a few styles but I wasn't feeling it. She went and grabbed something totally different, to change things up, and I tried it on. It was PERFECT and just what I was looking for. She was uplifting, accommodating, helpful, and so sweet to work with. I am so glad I found my dress at Wedding Shoppe. Thank you Vic! The Wedding Shoppe was where I found my dream dress! On the day I went, I was able to bring 5 people with me. We were not able to pick out the dresses ourselves (but the consultant said that on less busy days you can). We were brought to a private room with seating and a curtain for privacy while changing. Ream was our consultant, she took time to talk with me, asked about what our wedding was going to be like and what I had in mind for a dress. She brought back 3-5 options and the first one I tried on I absolutely fell in love with, Ream understood the assignment 100%. I still tried on the others and Ream was patient and helpful, offering suggestions for changing parts of dresses that I liked/disliked to customize it. I ended up leaving the store to go to two other shops that day, but at the end of the day I called The Wedding Shoppe and asked if I could come back to try on that first dress again. They let me come back, Ream helped me back into the dress, gave me a bouquet to see it with and I was sold! Ream even helped me get a discount and helped me figure out what size and color would be best for me. I highly recommend The Wedding Shoppe!

I got my wedding dress here and the experience was amazing! Hattie was wonderful!! she was so sweet and supportive, did not pressure me at all to buy the dress that day, and gave such great feedback! I was between two dresses and Hattie was so supportive and did not pressure me at all that I needed to make a decision right away. I left and ended up coming back an hour later to buy it. She found me when i came back and made me feel so happy and special! I could not recommend this place enough and will be recommending this place to friends getting married in the future!
