Visited today and had the most beautiful time!! You can just tell how much care and love this family puts into their delicious wines. We were there for over 2 hours tasting, eating and chatting with them. Thank you so much for having us - I strongly recommend a visit!

It is a wonderful vineyard with the most welcoming hosts. We turned up unannounced and interrupted their harvests lunch, but still, they gave us a quick tour and some wine tasting. Very, very accommodating.

The family owned vineyards entologist was very knowledgeable and gave us an interesting overview of their processes. The wine is very tasty, and I look forward to when it will be available in the UK. If we didn't have a limit on luggage weight for our journey home, I would have bought more than just 3 bottles of wine.

We were welcomed by the most friendly couple ever. We got the chance to taste a lot of their wines and they made an amazing cheese & prosciutto platter for us. Would definitely recommend!

My friends and I visited your winery 4 days ago and this was hands down our favorite thing we did while in Slovenia. Dusan, his wife and their grandson Rene were incredible hosts and very kind. I have never done a wine tasting like the one you guys provide and I loved every minute of it. We got to taste wine in the cellar and eat some homemade snacks. The wine was also very tasty. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a nice afternoon to stop by Benčina winery, you will not regret it.

Great experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
We arranged a last minute appointment to visit the winery on Saturday afternoon: they hosted in the best way as possible.
They have a "magic" red wine funtain that is really funny to see, but good to taste 😉
Then we tasted all the wines they produce, both from stainless steel containers and wood barriques. What we didn't expect was the amount of delicious food they prepared for us.
By the way: great wines and our favourites were Pinot Noir and Barbera (really....great Barbera!!!). They have a good balance among grape variety and wood taste.
We warmly suggest to contact them and taste their products.

One of most amazing wine tours I've had in Slovenia, and my life. The owners were so amazing and spoke about each wine with passion. The tour came with small bites of food and we opted for the giant plate of cold meats at the end while sipping on some of the best wines in Europe.

Darja and his wife welcomed us very last minute on a Sunday. Although, English is not easy for them they really tried to connect with us and make this experience as personal as possible. We got a tour, got wonderful food and I can't count how many wines. The only downside is that you'll want to bring home every wine you taste ;-). Thank you for your lovely hospitality and this amazing experience.
