Mike is by far the best in the state.
He has been my go to pro shop since I started.there during the season for help if something goes wrong with your equipment
Buy your Bow there and he will set it up and service your Bow for it's life. Don't buy on the internet etc and expect the same service.his service is olde school and faithful. It's the only shop I use..simply enough you will not be disappointed and if you are Archery is not for you ..

Went in looking to start shooting compound bow. Mike took the time to make sure I was comfortable with it and it was the right size. Once the bow was all set up he had me shooting. Now I never have shot bow before I listened to his Instruction and was doing good. This place is awesome

I called in today and let the owner Mike know that I bought a new bow online and wanted to get it tuned, I wanted to get measurements for arrows and was planning on doing a few upgrades on the bow, everything was fine on the phone, he told me to stop in he was open from 6:30 to 9:30 tonight. He was definitely short with me on the phone and I should have taken the signs. When I got there at about 8pm, I walked into an empty shop, no one in sight, I wondered my way into the range at the back of the store and saw this fat lard Mike for the first time, unbeknownst to me he was the owner, he was smoking a cigarette in the building speaking to 2 other people at the indoor range he has, I saw one of my old friends from high school shooting his bow so I greeted him and the owner still hasn’t said a word to me or acknowledged my presence. So I approached the group of 3 and said who’s Mike, as he blew cigarette smoke in my face he announced he was Mike the owner. I respectfully told him I’m the gentleman he spoke to on the phone a couple hours earlier and I am here for his services. This old fat lard didn’t remember our conversation and asked me what I wanted. I told him I need my bow tuned and before I can get another word out of my mouth he immediately told me he doesn’t service bows bought online and that he will not be providing any services to me regarding my bow. He told me he would measure me for arrows and that’s it, which was the complete opposite of our conversation on the phone. I was planning to do about $500-1000 in upgrades today and I am grateful that I didn’t give this fat lard a penny. He is by far the worst business owner I’ve ever met and I would advise anyone to steer clear of this place. I walked around his shop and everything was highly over priced, his service is horrible and he is highly disrespectful with the worst business practices I’ve ever seen. If he was the last archery shop on earth I wouldn’t even consider going back there. Little does he know he was about to have 2 life time customers because my father and I just moved back to NJ and we are both avid bow enthusiasts and our old shop is no longer around, so we were shopping around for a new shop to bring out business too. This fat lard lost out today and I will happily bring my business else where. There is another tech in the area Called BowGuy custom archery he will be the only person I will do business with moving forward. Mike seems happy with his current clientele and doesn’t need new business so I ask you all to not give him any new business because quite frankly he doesn’t deserve it.

I have read some of the negative reviews below and I'm laughing...Mike has been setting up Archers for over 40 years and he can tell if people aren't serious about the sport. He has everything you need and a shooting range to test and tune your new bow. His knowledge and hands on experience setting up your bow and accessories is amazing. I bought a Mathews V3X-33 yesterday and Mike had me shooting bullseyes from 20 yards before I left. Here's the thing, if you go buy your bow from Cabelas for $500 and then come in there and and expect him to tune and train you for $50 forget it...you are a clown. But, if you are serious about Archery and listen closely to what Mike is saying and can take some of his old school humor you will be treated like his son/daughter. I highly recommend Mike to any serious archer. Entitled clowns stay home. Don't expect a 10 minute sale. Give yourself at least an hour and stop talking and start listening to this incredible talented and experienced Archery technician. I can't thank you enuf Mike for helping me yesterday. Thank you and I'll be back to shoot soon...

I’ve been using Mike @ A&M for 30 plus years for a reason he’s the best !! If you want to save $50 by buying an internet bow and avoiding a pro shop don’t bring it to a pro shop like an idiot lol. You go to Mike for his expertise and experience not hugs & kisses. I’ve had more great conversations in that shop over the years with Mike than I can ever remember. He’s simply the best just don’t bring your internet garbage to him and expect hugs and kisses ?‍♂️

Folks, Other than spending time with my son, Im sorry to have wasted my evening going to this dump. The Owner was rude and not very helpful at all.
My son was told to bring in the bow he just bought online and we will see what we can do.
The owner Mike I will call him Mr Rude! He pointed out the obvious features of the bow and bashed some of the accessories that it came with, and said I won’t tune or touch a bow that was
“NOT PURCHASED” in my store.
Well I need to ask you a question Mr Rude, how the hell do you think you’re going to get new customers ? By turning them away and bashing what they bought because they liked it and you don’t. We probably were looking to spend $800 to $1000 last night, YOUR LOSS Mr Rude!
My son and I are avid bow hunters. I’ve been using my Browning Wooden compound since 1982 it has never failed or shown signs of stress. Mr. Rude said it was garbage and it will fail me.
We recently moved back to NJ and found that our old shop has closed. So we ended up here strictly by mistake, don’t waste your time.
