Terrible customer service! They have two associates working the counter. I was standing in line behind a customer on one side and was told I needed to go to the end of the other line that was near the other associate. Keep in mind they didn’t have any crowd control posts or signage so how was I to know. Also asked for assistance at finding an item in a larger size on the floor (non sale item) and they refused to step away or call another associate. Shopping retail is not what it used to be in these big department stores. Would not recommend going during the holidays

The Mexican lady in the Estee Lauder area is extremely rude. Very helpful to non-minority folks and she ignores others. Zero customer service. Yikes, I’ll never return.

Belk's is clean and laid out nicely (still). However, the store is not staffed to care for the customers. Staff was talking while customers at service desk needing help. Not having prices on merchandise is a real pain. Most people have lots of apps and do not want to download another one to find cost of an item. I saw 2 women walk out without any purchase and I didn't buy piece of luggage for lack of price.

Since it had been a while since I last bought dress shirts, I asked a staff member if it would be possible to get a measurement, but he said that they don’t really do that any more. He said that he wasn’t even sure if they had a measuring tape at all. He said he would go into the back and see if they had one. He went into the back and never came out. Needless to say, I didn’t buy any shirts here.

I can't praise Carrie in shoes enough for helping me pick accessories for my son's upcoming wedding. She went above and beyond! Amy in the beauty area was also kind to help me with hair tools. What wonderful customer service! I ABSOLUTELY love this Belk store which is why I drive from the Plano area!!!

So it’s Christmas time and I am in the store to buy Christmas gifts. All I wanted was a few sets of earrings and maybe a necklace. The little old lady behind the counter was one of the most unpleasant people that I’ve run into lately. I knew that there was probably going to be a difference in Price because I was at two different stores. I started at Macy’s. They had the very same earrings that I wanted to get for someone but they were priced 2x as much as they would’ve been from Macy’s. I showed the lady the ad she refused to match the price, she was convinced that they were the exact same earrings, but refused to match the price. After much coercion, she eventually did match the price. I bought more stuff I got to the checkout with her and she never offered me the thing that we were supposed to get when we purchased $50 or more. She never mentioned it. I asked her about it and she denied that it even existed. The aggravation is real folks. I headed towards the exit with my purchases and decided to ask another young lady that was working behind the perfume counter. She said she believes that there is such a thing and that she would check on it. She came back with the gifts. I told her of my displeasure with the other lady and she just nodded and smiled and told me merry Christmas. Customer Service just is not what it used to be.
